Sheila Denise Price (nee Limbacher) of Peninsula Ohio (formerly of Dover), passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of sixty-five (65) surrounded by family and friends following an extended hospital stay. She was born in Dover, OH on March 27, 1956, to the late Arthur and is survived by her mother Marjorie (nee Lautenschlager) Limbacher of Dover, OH.

Sheila grew up in Baltic, attended Garaway High School, and graduated from Kent State University. She resided in Dover for over 25 years where she raised her adored sons Ryan and Eric. She was a special needs teacher at Dover South elementary for many years and loved her students. Sheila had numerous friends, gave unconditionally, and touched the lives of everyone around her.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

In 2005 she married Fred Price in Maui, Hawaii, and built a new home and life in Peninsula, OH. She embraced Fred’s two daughters Kathryn and Jessica and traveled with him on trips around the country and Bermuda. She was an amazing cook, enjoyed gardening, dancing, singing, vacations at the beach, being with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, and listening to oldie’s music. She was preceded in death in January by her very close friend Mindy Zupp of Dover, OH.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Fred Price of Peninsula, OH; preceded in death by father-in-law Frank Price of New Philadelphia, OH, survived by mother-in-law Edith Price of Dover, OH; sister Cheryl (Dan) Deetz of Stonecreek, OH, brother Steve (Lu Ann) Limbacher of Dover, OH; sister-in-law Nancy (Mark) Arrington of Las Vegas, NV, preceded in death by brother-in-law Mark Price of Uhrichsville, OH; survived by 4 children: Ryan (Allison) Harding of Columbus, OH, Eric (Katherine) Harding of Macedonia, OH, Kathryn (John) Dean of Boston Heights, OH and Jessica (Erik) Samuelson of Putnam Valley, NY; survived by 5 grandchildren: Genevieve, Madeleine and Jameson Dean of Boston Heights, OH; Miles Harding of Columbus, OH and the most recent edition to the family sweet baby Eleanor Joy Harding of Macedonia, OH along with life-long friend Heidi Argento of Dover, OH, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved relatives.

You are invited to remember Sheila on Saturday, February 12 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar with family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 13 at 1:00 PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Henninger officiating.  Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.  The use of masks during visitation and services is encouraged by the family.
