Shirley Ann Shinaberry, 75, of Dennison passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2025. Born in Dennison on May 11, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Harold Ervin and Dollie Marie (Beamer) Shaw. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Nicholas Trolio who passed away in 2009.

Shirley graduated from Claymont in 1967. Her love of sewing led her to opening her own shop, Shirley’s Sewing and Bridal. She also can be remembered for her time at Robert’s Men’s Shop assisting as their seamstress. In addition to her love of sewing and gardening, she also enjoyed decorating her house, including her absolute favorite time of the year, Christmas and will always be remembered for their legendary outside Christmas display.

On May 10, 2014 she married Leslie “Les” Lane Shinaberry who will miss her deeply. Also surviving are her daughters; Nikki (James) Clark and Danyell Trolio; grandson, Joshua Oliver; step children, Tessa (Jason) Shaw, Denise Diuk, and Charla (Matt) McPeek; many step grandchildren; siblings, Harold “Bud” (Connie) Shaw, Jr., Thomas (Nancy) Shaw, Patricia Winrod, and Wanda (Pat) Cahaney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wish’s cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to Rush Community Church of the Nazarene where she was a member and The American Diabetes Association.
