Mary Alice Reporting –

A special community reception for the unveiling of the latest edition of Tapestries of Tuscarawas County will be held in the Community Room of the Dover Public Library on Saturday.

The 2pm event will feature several contributing authors who will read a portion of their work and copies of Tapestries will be available for $5.

Local history librarian Kim Jurkovic says the original pieces are published together to create a literary and oral history of the area.

“Submissions from people who have a story to tell about Tuscarawas County. It is non-fiction, so real things that happened here. It can be a story, a poem, it can be artwork, it can be a photograph, and we put it together in a book that kind of weavers together the story of Tuscarawas County.”
