Mary Alice Reporting –

New Philadelphia fire officials were on scene of an electrical fire for about 50 minutes.

The Monday call came in at 11:50am and had the fire department responding to 464 Robinson Drive, the location of R&J Cylinder and Machine.

Captain Matt Graham says the business was having problem with their service and had called the electric company prior to the blaze.

“When we arrived on scene there was a light haze of smoke in the office area. Units identified the problem was an HVAC system on the roof. That unit was isolated, and they contacted a heating and cooling technician to repair it.”

No one was injured and the business did not suffer any damage.
