The Ohio Wildlife Council has approved a hunting season that will be in spring 2024.

During a regular meeting, they discussed turkey season and ultimately, they gave agreed that the statewide youth wild turkey season would be on April 13th and 14th.

For regular season, counties were then split and for April 20th through May 29th, all counties not in the northeast zone can hunt.

For the other zone, this is for turkey hunters in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Trumbull counties. Their season will run from April 27th through May 26th.

The statewide limit is one bearded turkey during the 2024 spring season.
