Four people were taken to a hospital following a crash on State Route 39 and Schilling Hill Road, in Sugar Creek Township.

A release from the New Philadelphia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 2024 Subaru was north on Schilling, failed to yield at a stop sign, and travelled onto SR 39. The Forester was struck by an Amazon Prime truck. The box truck went into the westbound lane and struck a 2015 Kenworth Straight truck.

The at-fault driver, a 61-year-old from Pennsylvania, and her 63-year-old female passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital in Canton.

The 25-year-old Amazon driver, from Cleveland, sustained serious injuries and was taken by MedFlight to Summa Health Care.

The Kenworth truck operator, a 36-year-old Canton man was taken to Mercy Hospital.

OSP says they are still investigating. The release notes that all individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time.
