Stacy K. Cox, 43, of Dover passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the Community Hospice Truman House surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born on June 21, 1979, in Dover and was the daughter of the late Bryce and Brenda Sexton Pittman. Stacy is survived by her husband of seven years, Robert Cox whom she married on July 28, 2015; brother, Cory (Richele) Pittman of Dover; niece, Kylie and nephew, Fenix.
She was a 1998 graduate of Dover High School and had been employed for eight years as a Pharmacy Tech at Giant Eagle in New Philadelphia until illness forced her retirement. Stacy loved being with her family and friends, she was always the life of the party, and was known for the exciting games and toys she could create for the kids, especially the water balloon fights. She enjoyed relaxing by the fire, and going to the beach, and took great pride in helping others.
A service celebrating Stacy’s life will be held on Saturday, November 5th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Louise Worsham officiating. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
