A 26-year-old from Sugarcreek was killed in a three-vehicle crash.

On Sunday, Ohio State Highway Patrol New Philadelphia Post troopers responded around 10:40am to State Route 39 at County Road 77 (Prysi Road), just east of Sugarcreek.

The ongoing investigation determined that a Kawasaki motorcycle was westbound on SR 39. An eastbound Mazda CX-5 was making a left turn onto CR 77 when the motorcycle struck the right side of the Mazda. As a result, the motorcycle slid left of center and struck a Nissan Rogue traveling eastbound on SR 39.

The biker, Marcus Miller, was pronounced deceased on scene. OSP says he was wearing a helmet and protective clothing.

The 84-year-old Mazda driver, from Dover, was not injured and she was wearing a seatbelt. The Nissan driver, a 49-year-old from Coshocton, and her passenger were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

The investigation continues.
