They’re celebrating corn again in Strasburg with the return of the village’s summer festival Friday and Saturday at Strasburg- Franklin Park.
Today’s lineup includes the car show from 5 to 8 pm and live music by Tim and T.J. Gang from 7 to 10 pm.
Organizers John and Becky Sibila say they have kiddie tractor pulls Saturday at 11 am followed by the popular corn eating contest Saturday from 1 to 3 pm.
There’s also a pickleball tournament Saturday.
The cost to park is five dollars per car, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the local boy scouts.
Saturday’s lineup will include the presentation of the distinguished citizen award at 6pm and a medical helicopter flying in at 7.
Along with food and music, there’s a dunking machine, face painting, and free train and pony rides.
