During the Sunday, December 15th Christmas in the Village event, individuals can get their items wrapped.
The noon to 3pm service is being provided by Strasburg’s Cub Scout Pack 72 and Boy Scout Troop 72.
Committee Chair Michele Randolph says this is the first time they are offering gift wrapping.
“It was actually a Cub Pack parent’s idea and it just kind of fell right here before Christmas, and I said we can do that right here during Christmas in the Village. Just a way to get some awareness of what scouting does in the community, which we are a service organization, so we just wanted to provide a holiday service.”
Randolph says there is no limit, and individuals can bring their own paper or select ones provided.
“Just plan on everyone bringing in your totes of gifts or bags. We will assign you to a table and each gift needs to have a name on it so we know who to tag it to.”
There will be different table’s setup with Cub members, grades kindergarten through 5th, and troop members are ages 11 to 18. Donations will be accepted.
