The Strasburg Library branch is expected to move locations with the multi-use building currently for sale.
The Willis Group Realty listing puts the building, located at 356 5th Street SW, at $360,000.
Tuscarawas Public Library Director Michelle McMorrow-Ramsell says there will still be a Strasburg branch of the library system.
“Our branches are partnerships with our villages. The village is building a new community center and they’re moving the police station and the library into that building, in sperate little units.”
She says they’re excited to make the move.
“Really excited what the new space will mean for providing library services. The village has been wonderful to work with. We’re looking forward to it.”
The village anticipates the new building to be complete by the end of the year. Ramsell notes that with moving library materials and items they’re uncertain to when they would officially open in the new space.
