Mary Alice Reporting – New face to be head of Strasburg-Franklin Local School District for a 3-year term.

Vincent Lindsey Jr. was selected by the Board of Education to be the next superintendent with a contract beginning August 1st.

He has a background of 17 years in education as he began his career in Plain Local School from 2005 to 2012. He then transitioned to Alliance Middle School as the assistant principal before serving, since 2014, as the Massillon Middle School principal, giving his administrative experience.

Lindsey expressed, in a release, that he was grateful for his time of growth at the previous school district and he’s excited for this next step as “Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools has a community that takes pride in their school and students. The feeling of community is evident as I begin to develop relationships with community members.”
