The Village of Strasburg Police Levy passed by a close vote.
The levy was a renewal with an increase that would bring in an estimated $200,000.
Mayor Bruce Metzger says he is glad voters showed their support for a levy that will highly benefit the village.
“I’m very glad to hear that the voters passed it, so it’ll definitely help take care of a lot of issues with the police department when it comes to needing stuff in the future.”
The funds will go towards police operations, equipment, and wages.
