Sue Ann Charlton, 60, of Newcomerstown, passed away on August 16, 2022, at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. Sue was born on June 16, 1962, in Coshocton, to the late Howard “Ike” and Donna Meek.
Sue Ann graduated from Newcomerstown High School in the class of 1980. She earned an associate’s degree and worked as a dental assistant for many years. Sue loved to hang out with friends. She was a “girly” girl and loved her makeup, jewelry, purses, clothes, and accessories. She also loved shopping and QVC.
Sue Ann is survived by her children, Andy (Hannah) Wright of West Lafayette, Courtney McCune of Newcomerstown, Nicholas Bucher of Dundee; her grandchildren, Trenton, Jaycelyn, Aurora, Rowan, Maddox, Korbyn, Kayson; siblings, Robert “Bob” (Angela) Meek of Gnadenhutten; closest friend, Holly Pugh; very close aunt, Sally Bates; niece, Taylor Meek; nephew, Kevin Meek.
Along with her parents, Sue Ann is preceded in death by her sister, Darla “Beetle” Meek.
The memorial service for Sue Ann Charlton will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 2 pm at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown, with Ed Rexroad officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.addyfuneralhome.com.
