T-4-C is on track to achieve its goal of providing a blanket to every nursing home resident in Tuscarawas County.

Executive director Leslie Booth says they were about 80-percent of the way there Monday with 785 blankets collected and two days remaining before the deadline November 27th.

The T-4-C staff will be out of the office in the afternoon Wednesday but blankets can be left in the lobby. Booth says they can be crocheted, sewed, quilted, tied, or store-bought but need to be at least 3-by-4-feet in size.

Any blankets received in excess of the goal will go to homebound individuals in couples in Tuscarawas County.

T-4-C is also collecting personal care and hygiene items through December 10th to put into gift baskets to those households along with socks, slippers, stamps, and stationary.
