Tammie Denice Jarvis Al-Sweiti, 59, of Dennison, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 17, 2022, after a period of declining health. Born August 14, 1963, in Lake County Memorial Hospital in Painesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Louis Gale Jarvis and Barbara Ann (Noblitt) Jarvis Santiago.

A resident of Dennison for the past four years, Tammie had previously resided in the West Side area of Cleveland for much of her life. A decade ago, she was given the blessing of a second chance at life when she received a liver from an organ donor through University Hospitals in Cleveland, for which she was always deeply grateful. She loved her family very much, including her faithful canine companion, Rocky, and she will be remembered for her enjoyment of doing crafts and collecting knickknacks. While living in Dennison, she was a member of the Dennison Eagles.

Tammie will be sadly missed by her sisters, Shannon (Raymond Sr.) Duda and Charo Santiago; brothers, Billy and David Jarvis; many nieces and nephews, including those to whom she was closest – William Diaz, Raymond Duda Jr., Joseph Duda Sr., Anthony Duda, James Duda, and Alexus Duda; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; her former spouse, Sweiti Al-Sweiti; and special friends, Star, Hayet and Meryll.

Services, officiated by Pastor David Koch, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where her family will receive callers for an hour prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, the Dennison Fire Department’s Emergency Squad, and the American Lung Association. Tammie’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the many people who helped care for her, especially the Dennison Emergency Squad, her nurse – Tara, and the staff of Crossroads Hospice.
