During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and regional partners.

Among the tax credits approved was to Holmes Siding Contractors, Killbuck Township, the Village of Millersburg, and City of Newark.

The project is expected to create 60 full-time positions, generating $5.9 million in new annual payroll, as a result of the company’s new location in Killbuck Township and expansion in Millersburg and Newark.

Holmes Siding Contractors manufactures aluminum building products and sells them to distributors across the U.S. The proposed project will support the construction of a new manufacturing facility to meet growing demand, serve new customers, and implement a comprehensive growth plan.

TCA approved a 1.749 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Statewide, projects are expected to spur over $200 million in investments.
