Uhrichsville’s Council passes temporary appropriations to get them through the first few weeks of 2026.

Auditor Jeryl McGaffick says the city started at the beginning of the year at $2.8 million and are ending at $2.4.

“But that’s not the final figures because we still have all of December’s revenue to be put on the system yet and we’ll get all those figures when I get the bank statement.”

She says going into next year the city will keep a close eye on their general fund, which is supported by taxes.

“Takes care of the police department, the fire department, the mayor’s office, the demolitions that were done in the city last year, and yeah, it covers a lot.”

McGaffick has hopes to finalize permanent appropriations by the end of February.
