Teresa Ann Minturn (Bower), loving daughter, sister, step-mother, aunt, dog mom and friend, passed away in her home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Teresa was 68 years old, and her death was sudden and unexpected..
She was born in Columbus on July 9, 1954, to the late Wilbur Minturn and Margaret Kay Grover Minturn Monte. Teresa had lived much of her life in Tuscarawas County, where she was employed by Lauren Manufacturing and Lowe’s. Some of her most favorite pastimes included decorating, gardening, reading and caring for all things furry.
Teresa is survived by her sisters and brother, Teri (Jim) Frey, Cassandra (Matt) Tucker and Steven (Melissa) Monte; her step-daughter, Ursula (Michael) Fitzgerald; her nieces and nephews, Spencer, Saylor, Zak, Zach, Ethan and Alyssa.
Teresa will be missed by so many, but there is peace in knowing that she is now reunited with loved ones and was met at the Rainbow Bridge by her beloved fur babies, Maggie, Hilda, Anthony, Hannah and Frankie, and she will rejoice again when she is finally reunited with Beezie.
Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. There will be no visitation or ceremony.
