Timothy Eugene Stine Jr., age 39, of 28890 Alexander Ridge Road, Freeport passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
He was born March 27, 1983, in Union Hospital, Dover, Tuscarawas County; a son of Timothy (Dianne) Eugene Stine Sr. of Freeport and Christina Dominique Pflugh (Donald) Horstman of New Athens.
Tim graduated from Harrison Central High School in 2002. He went to work driving truck and working on the farm for Red Hill Farms in Antrim, and drove a truck for Toland Trucking and Harrison County Highway Department. He did some seasonal truck driving for the state highway department. His passion in life was truck driving and helping on the family farm. He always had a smile and was the life of any party.
He loved camping and enjoyed spending time with his camping family at Twin Hills Park. Tim enjoyed his Busch Lite and eating and partying at his Uncle Terry’s campsite. He loved to attend his son’s sporting activities and watching his favorite Cleveland Browns team.
Surviving is his wife of eleven years, making it official October 28, 2018, Elizabeth Ruthann Schuler Stine. Also surviving are three sons: Timothy Eugene Stine III of Harrisville, Jacob Tanner Stine of Freeport, and James Leroy Stine of Freeport; two brothers: Anthony (Courtney) Stine of Freeport and Joseph Stine of New Athens; two step-sisters: Tabitha Cunningham of Hopedale and Cassy Cunningham Meese of Tuscarawas; two step-brothers: Jamie Cunningham of Flushing and Scott Cunningham of Uhrichsville; grandfather and step-grandmother, Ronald and Linda Stine of Cadiz; paternal grandmother, Helen Barker of Freeport; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Pflugh of Hopedale; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents: James Barker, Richard Pflugh, Glenn and Clara Stine, and Thomas and Marguerite Buele, an aunt, Tracie Stine and three cousins: Tanner Stine, Maklon Shields, and Brandi Tweedy.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022, in the Freeport United Methodist Church, 222 S High Street, Freeport with David Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport.
