Todd A. Maurer, 67, of Sugarcreek passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his home following a short period of declining health.
He was born in Dover on June 30, 1956 to the late Dalton and Grace (Shumaker) Maurer.
Todd was a 1974 graduate of Garaway High School and was retired from dairy farming. He enjoyed being at home and doing yard work.
Surviving are his brother Darrl (Judy) Maurer of Sugarcreek and sister Kaye (Jack) Stauffer of Ragersville; nieces and nephews Dr. Natalie (Dustin) Fisher, Jason Maurer, Jessica Thomas, Clint (Stacey) Maurer, Scott (Katie) Stauffer, and Angel (Matt) Andreas; and 5 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Todd was preceded in death by his brother Richard.
Private family graveside services will be held on Monday at Union Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bill Eckert officiating.
