Following Wednesday’s free drive-thru event, tree seedlings are still available at the Tuscarawas County Health Department.
The goal behind the event is that the seedlings will grow into a full tree helping support the environment.
White and red oak seedlings are available Friday from 8 am to 4 pm while supplies last. There is a limit of one per person and it will come with a handout describing properties, planting instructions, and how to care for the tree in its development.
Other free items at the event include Earth Day coloring books with crayons and wildflower packets.
