The trial is underway for the truck driver charged in connection to the fatal Tusky Valley charter bus chain reaction crash that killed three students and three adult chaperones.
61-year-old Jacob McDonald, of Zanesville, is charged with 26 counts for the November 2023 crash that happened east of Columbus on I-70.
Testifying Monday included a truck driver whose vehicle was struck that day, a trooper who responded to the scene, and the driver of car rear0ended by the charter bus.
McDonald elected to have a bench trial where a judge will issue a verdict. The trial is expected to continue for three or four days.
