Coordinator Lisa Walker says not only will items but available for purchase, but a lemonade and hotdog stand will be on location too.
“We have just been blessed by the community bringing donation. We have some really phenomenal items that we are able to offer. We have furniture, toys, bikes, clothing, jewelry, housewares, collectibles, you name it we have it.”
All proceeds from the rummage sale will go toward TUFF Bags mission of feeding local youth over the summer months and during the school year.
“We feed children ages three and four in pre-school all the way through high school so we’re hitting all the ages. Right now, TUFF Bags is reaching about forty percent of that population. This past school year, that we just ended, we were serving 1,404 children every week.”
Photos of available items can be found on the TUFF Bags Facebook page, along with more information on the program and how the community can volunteer their time to help pack the bags.
