Nick McWilliams reporting – The Tuscarawas County Senior Center will open its doors to all residents at the beginning of November.
An open house has been scheduled for November 1st from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the center’s Dover location on Prospect Street.
Information about programs and services will be distributed, and tours will be available of the facility.
Outside of the services provided for retired residents, working individuals over the age of 50 are invited to attend to learn more about fitness classes, catering opportunities, and more.
The center has a fully equipped gym and walking track.
Outside of Dover, the organization has satellite locations in Newcomerstown, Strasburg, Sugarcreek, Uhrichsville and Westchester.
Membership applications will be available, and anyone who signs up will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.
