Dover City Democratic Central Committee members will meet to fill a council position.
The soon vacant position will be the At-Large seat on the Dover City Council. The seat is currently held by Councilwoman Gina Space, who submitted her resignation, effective December 19th, to assume her elected position as Dover City Law Director come January 1st, 2024.
Chair Martha Campbell said those interested in the seat should attend the upcoming meeting.
“Anyone that is interested in that position is just requested to be there the night of the meeting. That meeting is December 27th at 6pm at the Tuscarawas County Democratic Headquarters.”
To be eligible for the seat, one must be a resident of Dover and a Democrat.
