Spots needed to be filled following the passing of Doug Wills, who was the long-time chairman for the Tuscarawas County Republican Party.
During a meeting, on May 29th, Greg Kimble was elected to serve as the chairman. He was a good fit for the position since he has been with the party for many years, and had worked closely with Wills on building the local political hub.
In addition, Shane Gunnoe was selected as vice-chairman, Stacey Everett was elected as secretary, and Leslie Seats was chosen as treasurer.
The Tuscarawas Republican Central Committee also appointed Brian Glazer to fill the vacancy of York Township precinct 0081/1 seat, once held by Wills.
