Individuals can get a glimpse into the local high school basketball season during two preview nights.
Tickets are $25 for the events sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame.
Connie Evans, Board Vice President, says the first evening will feature the girls’ basketball teams.
“With our nine girl basketball coaches coming out on Monday, November the 4th. We will have a great meal and then, of course, we will go on to present each of the coaches [who] will have four to five minutes and then we will also follow up with some questions.”
The next meeting, on November 11th, will preview the high school basketball boys’ teams in the same format.
“Tickets are $25, it does include a meal at the Senior Center, and then of course we go on to have this discussion. So, we mix a little bit of fellowship and sports.”
Door will open for both preview nights at 5:30pm and the program starts at 6. Tickets can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or online through Eventbrite.
