Gwen Rummell Reporting –
Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services (TCJFS) has partnered again with Operation Warm to provide free coats and shoes to children.
Beginning on January 2, 2024 at 8 am, interested applicants can go to the TCJFS agency to pick up items while supplies last until January 5, 2024 at 4 pm. Sizes 2t children through 18 young adult will be available.
Supervisor Deborah Whitney says the process only requires filling out one page of information.
“There is one sheet, one page that has to be completed with pertinent information like name, address, the children in the home, and they do have to be under the 200% federal poverty level.”
Whitney adds that income is self-attested with the monthly household income required on the form.
Parents or guardians are recommended to bring their child with them because items are non-returnable.
