An annual telethon had another successful year to raise funds for their mission of helping those in Tuscarawas County.
Tusc Rainbow Connection hosted the live and online auction, plus accepted donations, which all goes back to meet the needs of disadvantaged and disabled children and adults.
Executive Director Perci Garner says there was an outpouring of community support and the telethon raised $328,091.61.
“Very thankful for all the people that obviously support the Rainbow Connection and the telethon and get in involved and volunteer and all the behind-the-scenes people that you don’t see. You know, Tuscarawas County always shows their generosity when there’s a need.”
