September is a big month for the United Way of Tuscarawas County and those who want to support the local charity.
It starts with the third annual New Philadelphia Pickleball Open at Tuscora Park on Labor Day. The men’s tournament starts at 8 a.m., followed by the mixed division at noon and the women’s tournament at 4 p.m.
United Way of Tuscarawas County President Sarah Spies says you don’t have to be a pro to play. Register for the Pickleball Open at tuscunitedway.org.
Tickets can also be purchased for the United Way’s other September fundraiser on the website, like the 5th annual Brews and Bites at KSU Tusc on September 13th.
Spies says all the money raised supports the many outreach efforts of the United Way of Tuscarawas County.
There are limited tickets for Brews and Bites, so purchase tickets soon at tuscunitedway.org.
