Nick McWilliams reporting – One of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the Tuscarawas County Clinic for the Working Uninsured is back this month.

Casino Royale, a fundraiser that has benefited the clinic in years past, features casino games, auctions, a cash bar, and hors d’oeuvres.

The non-profit clinic provides services through volunteer physicians for employed residents between the ages of 18 and 64 without insurance, who are at or below 199-percent of the federal poverty guidelines.

The Tuscarawas United Way will help host the event, which is at the Kent State University Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center on February 18th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Proceeds will go towards operational expenses for the clinic.

Tickets are $50 per person, and can be purchased by calling the clinic at (330) 364-1853, or by going online to www.tuscunitedway.org/events.
