Two businesses, a non-profit, and five individuals are being recognized for their contributions to the community.

The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce recently announced its latest award recipients, who will be honored on January 29th during a ceremony at the performing arts center.

Individual award winners include retired longtime Tuscarawas County commissioner Chris Abbuhl as citizen of the year and Buckeye Career Center’s Debbie Ganyard as educator of the year.

The Tuscarawas County Senior Center is the organization of the year, and Theresa Mattox of Huntington Bank is the chamber’s volunteer of the year.
