Individuals and businesses have been named for the 2023 Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce awards.
The recipients will receive special recognition at the organizations 65th annual banquet on January 24th.
President and CEO Scott Robinson says they will celebrate Wayne Garage Door as the large business and SSB Community Bank in Strasburg as the small business of the year.
Other awardees include Access Tusc, Indian Valley teacher Aaron Davis, and a Citizen of the Year going to Scott Gerber, of Belden Brick.
“For providing a decade of leadership to the Ohio Swiss Festival and he also serves as president of the arts council of Sugarcreek. He took an organization that really was having difficulty in the community, the Ohio Swiss Festival, and he and a team of volunteers were able to rebuild that entire organization.”
The Hall of Fame recipient will be Trent Troyer.
Robinson says the ceremony will be at the Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center.
