Buckeye fans are again getting a chance to win signed memorabilia and more as part of a scholarship fundraiser for local OSU students.
The Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas county has its annual drive-thru fishing expedition at Tuscora Park this Thursday from 5 to 7 pm along Al Maloney midway.
Club president Martha Campbell says it’s 20 dollars and all participants win a prize worth at least that amount. She says this fundraiser started during covid – as people don’t have to leave their cars – and it’s still going strong.
Campbell is thankful for the businesses and individuals who donated all the prizes to this cause, such as autographed mini helmets, footballs, and helmets, along with Christmas ornaments, shirts, blankets, and other OSU items.
Campbell says participants at Thursday’s drive-thru fishing expedition will be able to pay by cash, Venmo, or check.
