Gwen Rummell Reporting –

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System has added new equipment to its MakerSpaces in various branches.

The new additions include a Cricut Maker 3, a sublimation printer, and a 5-in-1 Heat Press. The MakerSpaces are “do-it-yourself” spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn.

Seasoned makers and those new to the maker movement can use the equipment on a first-come, first-serve basis. The library also offers supplies for purchase like cardstock, mugs, vinyl, and more.

Interested individuals can attend 101 introductory classes and events, such as MakerSpace Orientation and MakerSpace Create It Night, to learn more about the library’s MakerSpace and equipment. Registration is required for these events due to limited availability.

For more information about the library’s MakerSpace or services, contact the library at 330-364-4474 or visit www.tusclibrary.org.
