
The majority of Tuscarawas County voters will see a replacement 1-mill levy for the public library.
Issue 20’s annual collection, at $35 per $100,000 home value, goes directly to library services.

“The reason why the board made the decision to go back on the levy was really three reasons; the reduction in state funding, also the fact that when you have a levy on for so long there’s a role back effect where it’s not collecting at current millage, but then third reason was really to keep up with inflation.”
Money generated from the continuing levy supports general expenses, technology and materials, along with staffing.
Tuesday is Election Day, and registered voters can cast a ballot that day at their designated polling location from 6:30am to 7:30pm.
