The Tuscarawas County Senior Center is opening another satellite location.
Executive director Jamie Smith says they’re partnering with a group of interested Tusky Valley community members to put one inside the old high school.
The organization is currently seeking a part-time director for the site, which is tentatively scheduled to open the first week in February. The plan is to have an open house that Friday from 10 until 2 for everyone to come check it out.
This will be the senior center’s sixth satellite location.
Days and hours of operation will be shared on the center’s website and social media pages once they’re finalized.
