The Tuscarawas County Health Department is ready to show off the 2.1-million-dollar grant-funded overhaul to its facility.

The department on East Iron Avenue in Dover is having an open house from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday, May 19th.

Community Relations Director Jennifer Demuth says the construction that started in March of last year has included a 2,200-square-foot expansion, updated HVAC systems, better traffic flow, and enhanced ADA accessibility throughout the building.

She says the open house will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by tours of the newly redesigned space.

Visitors will also see work from more than 20 local artists selected to be displayed inside the renovated building.

Demuth says the updated layout is easier to navigate, with clear signage—including Spanish language signs—and improved access for all visitors
