The Tuscarawas County Public Library is hosting a storytime series for a variety of different ages as a way to promote early literacy.
Public Relations Associate Emily Price says the overall goal is to have accessible opportunities for families.
“No matter if they’re in the morning, we also offer some evening family story times. We also have Saturday toddler to pre-k story times for ages two to five.”
The programs will be held at the main location and the branches in Bolivar, Strasburg, Sugarcreek, and Tusky.
Price says not only do these designated dates encourage reading, but kids will also engage in talking, singing, and playing.
“And we also have some additional fun story times, little pop ups throughout the system. We will have one at the Bolivar branch in April that will feature a guest speaker. We also have some fun one like taco and dragon story time.”
The winter-spring series runs January 19th through March 23rd. For more details and to register, visit tusclibrary.org.
