A 2nd annual Pickleball Tournament will be held this Monday with games beginning at 8am.

In 2023, over $9,000 was raised, and the fundraiser benefits the United Way of Tuscarawas County with registration at $40 per person. Community Resource Coordinator Susan Reidenbach notes that this event aligns with the organizations overall mission.

“Core values of health and wellness, and what better way than being out and active. It’s a great way for the United Way to raise funds, to give back to our community, but to promote health and wellness throughout.”

The tournament will be held at Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia.

“Out tournament is going to be for 4.0 skill rating and under. What they do they find a partner, it is teams of two. They are to a score of 15. You have to win by two.”

Teams will consist of men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles.

Pre-registration is required, which ends on Friday at midnight, and can be done by finding the event on www.pickleballbrackets.com.
