The Tuscarawas County YMCA is giving the area’s youngest basketball players an opportunity to sharpen their skills under guidance from the Cleveland Cavaliers organization.
Marketing director Kathleen Johnson says the YMCA will be offering the Jr. Cavs and Cav-a-Littles programs beginning in late February.
The Cav-a-Littles program is for kids 3 to 5 and will feature clinics over four weeks coached by Deric Nichols of the Cavs organization
Johnson says the Jr. Cavs program is for kids in kindergarten through third grade and involves a co-ed league for seven weeks. It also has a skills session day provided by the Cavs on February 25th.
