
The community will gather this week to remember Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent
Nate Kamban, died last week after a battle with cancer. He was 39.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kamban’s life Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Geib Funeral Center in Dover.
Tuscarawas County Special Olympics Coordinator Richelle Lefler says his loss will be deeply felt by the athletes he supported.
Kamban was appointed TuscBDD superintendent in 2017, becoming Ohio’s youngest county board superintendent at the time.
Kamban is survived by his wife, Amanda, and their five children.
