Tusky Valley School District officials are welcoming to community into their new elementary school before the new academic years starts up.

Superintendent Derek Varansky says they’re having a ribbon-cutting ceremony for it Thursday, August 29th at 6:30 pm.

Varansky says this will bring all grades together for the first time at their campus on Tusky Valley Road northeast in Zoarville.

The new elementary school was the district’s former middle school, which was completely renovated and given a large addition, creating a 101-thousand square foot facility for students in preschool through 6th grade.
