Minimal details are available following an early Monday morning called about shots being fired.
According to police records, from New Philadelphia, a caller advised that a black sedan had traveled past his residents, on E. High Avenue, and fired shots at where he was standing on the porch with two other individuals.
The caller advised dispatch that the vehicle then sped off toward Sunoco.
A deputy from the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop, just before 2am.
Based upon records, two people were detained based upon separate warrants and one released.
The investigation continues with New Philadelphia noting there is a dent in the homes pillar appearing to be from a bullet.
