Nick McWilliams reporting – Two suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening.
The Coshocton County Fire Department was toned out late Tuesday at 9:10 a m.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Chestnut and North Third Street, involving two local residents.
Authorities say that 18-year-old Dalton McCoy was southbound, but misjudged an oncoming vehicle when attempting to make a left-hand turn.
He collided with 54-year-old Lori Bacon, who was transported by emergency responders to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville for his injuries.
McCoy meanwhile was treated and released on scene, receiving a citation for failure to yield.
A status report on Bacon’s condition was not available Wednesday morning.
Coshocton County EMS and Coshocton City Fire assisted on scene.
