Fourth and fifth pools of mosquitoes have come back positive for a virus that many people infected with do not develop any symptoms.
The Tuscarawas County Health Department (TCHD) was recently notified, by the Ohio Department of Health, that pools of mosquitoes collected on August 23, have tested positive for the West Nile Virus.
Those two locations were at 9000 Camp Road and 7899 Cherry Run Road NW in Dundee.
The Health Department will respond according to recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and will conduct mosquito spraying in Wayne Township this evening. In the event of inclement weather, spraying will be postponed.
