Nick McWilliams reporting – Uhrichsville administration have issued their list of proposed streets to be paved to the Tuscarawas County Engineer’s Office.

Mayor Mark Haney issued the list through his biweekly mayor’s report, after discussion with Service Director Belle Everett and Foreman Jeff Galbreath.

Everett said that they are waiting for a reply from the county level, and are hopeful more areas can be addressed.

She added that stripping will also begin shortly in school zones, with crosswalks, and for center and fog lines.

The streets listed were East 11th Street from Water to Uhrich Street, Franklin and Wilcoxen Streets, and Moravian Trail from South Water Street to the corporation limit.

Jaycee Drive will also receive two inches of asphalt from Holiday Avenue to the corporation under the proposal.

The list to be completed is dependent on coming in under the estimated cost of roughly $225,000, and if money is left over, Haney notes that additional streets will be addressed.
