A fire that started on the outside of a Uhrichsville home was out quick, and no injuries reported.
On Thursday, fire departments from the city, Dennison, and New Philadelphia, along with Smith Ambulance responded to La Porte Drive.
Uhrichsville Chief Justin Edwards explains that, on scene, just before 4pm, crews noticed a fire on the exterior of a mobile home and that it was accidental.
“There was a camp fire last night. Some new materials has been put in, not realizing that there was some still hot coals in there and that extended to some other materials that were being stored around that area and then eventually to the trailer before anybody saw it.”
Firefighters had the blaze out in about 15 minutes and Dennison crews then performed overhaul.
Overall, crews were on location for about an hour.
