No one was hurt in a fire in Barnhill.
Uhrichsville firefighter Zach Lynch says they were called out on Saturday.
“12:09 we got dispatched for a structure fire on Nageley Road in Barnhill. With us was New Philadelphia fire department and Sherrodsville fire department.”
Firefighters remained on scene for over 2 hours waiting for the homeowner to arrive for the investigation. Lynch notes they had the fire out within 30 minutes and overall damage is minimal.
“Porch and a piece of the wall that was the in front of the house, probably a five foot by seven-foot area of the wall. Dogs were okay and minimal smoke damage throughout the home as well.”
A cause is accidental, and the origin is the front porch.
